You can capture it. But what you can do is use either onunload or onbeforeunload methods that are triggered when the user reloads/leaves the page

How to stop unloading the page?

    Hi,
do any one know, how to stop unloading the page when user refresh the page. i have handled the events if user pressed F5 or CTRL+R to refresh the page, and i can even disable the right-click context menu, but in my application, we need to support that, in addition i need to handle the refresh.

    i wrote some thing like:

in onbeforeunload, i returned false.. still the page is getting refreshed,
can any one help me regarding the same?

    thnx,
    krishna
