Script to allow users to create own website.

Hello,

I am looking for a script or CMS that would allow a member to subscribe to a service and select from a set of templates and modify those templates. something simular to myevent.com

I'm not sure where to begin, but I want to be able to host to sites myself, and not pay a service.

Any guidance is much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Sitebuilder is simular, but more sofisticated than I would like. I want to disign the template, and have the user go into the admin panel and insert the information. The main key is that I don't want the users to have as much control over the design of the site.

In IT terms, I don't want them to have "Administrative" rights. I want them to have "Power User" rights

There are probably a few CMSs out there that could do that.

You'd have to look harder yourself though, sorry I couldn't be of more help.

thanks for all the advice. maybe i have to look into creating my on CMS. might have to hit the book store.
