indexed by Google in 8 days

Cool. My 8 day old site was indexed by google and is #1 for the keyword. I dont know if its just normal but I think its a good thing. My site isn't even finished and it only took 8 days to get it indexed. The keyword isn't competitive, i know. I am just excited

It is pretty normal and no "big thing" but it is certainly "cool"! Congrats!

I think you're misunderstanding the original poster. I doubt if his keyword was any of those you mentioned if he is talking about the sites in his url.

Build some goos links on few quality sites. And you are indexed within 2-4 days, maximum 1 week (with possible delay on data migration between Google servers).

And people just give you links on high PR pages because you want them to?

I've read numerous times suggestions that people spend a few hundred dollars to buy links so they can fool Google into thinking they are important. Google claims that using links as "votes" is democratic. It seems that those with the money to spend will be able to game the Google search engine to their advantage. That's hardly democratic.

I agree that bought links shouldn't increase a page's perceived importance. In using a page's PR as a measure of importance, Google sees an inbound link as a 'vote' for that page. When a link is bought, it stops being a vote and shouldn't pass any PR (in my opinion). I think I read somewhere that Google want to devalue bought links, but the problem is how to detect them.

Not everyone buys links for PR gain though. Some buy them for the traffic they will bring.

I agree hooperman. But how is Google (or any SE) to know what is and isn't a paid-for link?

okay, another site indexed in 7 days.

I guess you shouldn't stop marketing your site. I believe that you should continue whatever you were doing and ever work harder.

Yes, my index page. They that is probably caused by Google's different datacenters.

    I think its Google sandbox.

First of all a good way is not trying to get #1 for a competitive keyword. Build on this less competitive keywords until you build up using link buiding by link exchanges. Then gradually you will be get out of it.
