By the time I'd realized it, I'd created a large number of pages that work well in IE but not in Netscape(&^*!). I'm new to using Dreamweaver and have used layers extensively because of their flexibility. What is the best way to ensure that I can use the existing pages in both browsers without recreating them?
If your scripting your layers, i.e. moving them or stacking them and only having one visible at a time you need to absolutely position them. Netscape will only script absolutely positioned elements. Do not use IFRAME elements as Netscape 4.X doesn't understand them, 6.0 will. Stay away from the BGSOUND and Marquee tags as well.
