Religion, evolution, the merits (or lack thereof) of war, and, above all, the current President of the United States...whoever he is at the time, it doesn't matter, people will have plenty to say on the subject.

You're tellin' me! Even on my own site, discussing movies, it happens constantly. A philosophical debate holds nothing to a discussion on "Vanilla Sky" or "Memento." People tend to hold their most beloved movies more dearly than their religion.
