    Please review w57 :)

    Hello,

Please review my latest project, w57.net. I bought the domain for a few bucks and figured I might be able to throw something together with it.

There's not a lot to the layout, but I think I've done alright to make it simple to use and attractive. What do you think?

    Thanks,
    Luke

I like it. Just a few points:
    - the favicon looks really squished. Perhaps you can make a better one.
    - i would move the "Drag and drop the link to the left to your toolbar." ABOVE the urls list, instead of below the copyright (and make it a bit bigger).
Overall, a really nice site. Good job.

I like the colour scheme, it looks sharp, crisp and to the point. It is easy to figure out what the site does.

The tooltips are a nice touch and help with the functionality.

There are a few html errors (e.g. no DOCTYPE decleration) if this is something you might be concerned with.

Overall it is nice, neat and does the job!

I like the clean style as I am always a fan of that. What I didn't like was just how plain it really really looked. You can have clean but still have an exciting page (Sitepoint.com is an excellent example).

I also thought it was very small like you only needed a PALM to view the entire home page. It's fully functional but with a good domain like that I believe you could do much more with it, good luck

Ill second the favicon needs fixing. Maybe just put 57, or just w57 instead of the whole w57.net logo.

You can hardly read what it says.

    I like the simplistic design.

I like the drag and drop ajax thing at the bottom but it doesnt seem to work on my browser. Avant browser 10.2

One issue I had at my resolution (1280 x 1024) was that when I moused over the "Shorten with 257.net", the balloon caused the scrollbar to appear, shifting the page over and then back again when I moved the mouse somewhere else. I am on Firefox 1.5, and I'm sure it's an issue that wouldn't affect many users, but to fix you might want to always force scrollbars. Looks solid otherwise.

Sorry, but I just don't like it. Don't like the colors. How about a hover effect on the links?

I fail to see any usefulness to this at all.

Great but it is a pity that you don't have time for it.
