Apache/Php5 on Windows XP - LoadModule
I am having the following problem installing Apache and PHP on my machine.
I have installed php to C:\php5 and put the PHP.ini file in C:\Windows, and added the path C:\php5 to the Environment Variables.
I have put the following in httpd.conf:
LoadModule php5_module "c:/php5/php5apache2.dll" AddType application/x-httpd-php .php
"The requested operation failed!"
When I comment out the first line (LoadModule) it starts, but that is obviously no good.
When I go to Start>Programs>Apache>Configure>Test Configuration,
I get the command prompt, and it tells me I have a syntax error on that LoadModule line, and that the module cannot be loaded.
It is copied straight from other examples I have seen (obviously I changed the path).
Could someone please tell me what may be wrong here.
I was using Apache 2.2, when I should have been using 2.0. There are apparently incompatibilty issues
