    My Index Isn't Showing Up!

This is the first time I've done anything like this, so please, no jeering or laughter

I just moved to a new hosting company and I've got everything working, except for one thing:

If you try to go to my website (ex - www.mywebsite.com), there is nothing there. If you go to www.mywebsite.com/index.asp, there is something there, the site shows up fine, because that is the exact path to the index page. I want it to show up when people type in www.mywebsite.com.

What am I not doing? How can I fix this, or at least make it forward to the /index.asp page?

    server default

If you have asp pages I'm guessing you don't have an Apache server, but there should be some way to have requests for folders (without a page in the URL) go to a default page, usually "index".

You need to configure the IIS server to include 'index.asp' in the list of default file names.

That is exactly what I needed to do - thanks for answering my question
