Connect to DSN ?

Hey I recently got a book on PHP and have been messing around with forms and cookies mainly. But the book only goes into how to connect to a MySQL server I cant seem to find anything about connecting to a access database it also assumes that the MySql is on a localhost!

So anway could someone just post the basic code to connect to a database without and with a DSN set up.

You'll need to read up on the ODBC functions to access a DSN (if you're talking about a microsoft DSN).
