If you look at your site statistics (logs), you should be able to see where your traffic is coming from and therefore where you're listed. Or, you could just go to the major sites and type in your site's name and see what comes up.

There are many programs out there that let you set up terms and it will search for your sites and show you a report. Many have a trial period or are shareware.

The only one I can remember right now is http://webpositiongold.com/ you can download a trial program that will probably show only a couple of results.

I have never invested in a full version of any program of this type, since most of the trials have a problem connected to all the databases. Anytime a SE changes its site you might have to buy a new product.

    Good Luck,

    Useful Information.

Here's a great feature of www.AltaVista.com search engine.. It will display all web-pages (in thier index) that have a link to your website url..

Here's how you use this feature:
In thier "Search For" box, type it as:

    link:www.MySiteName.com

Of course, replace "MySiteName" with the website url that you want to check. So, if the domain name of your website is www.ThisIsJustMyWebSite.com , then you'd type in the "Search For" box:

    link:www.ThisIsJustMyWebSite.com

(Be sure to include the "link:" part to use this feature)

It will then return a list of results of all other website/webpages that have a link to your site (well, at least websites that are currently in the AltaVista index listings). Anyways, it's a really neat feature not a lot of people know about.

www.HotBot.com search engine has a similar feature.
In the search box, type in the website domain url you want to check, and on the left site of thier page, you'll see a drop-down menu titled:

    Look For:

Open it up, and select the: "Links to this URL" option.

Then submit your search.. Again, this will only give results of webpages that are currently indexed with thier listings.

Hope this was of some help.
    Best regards, --- LonWolf!
