Paintshop Pro has a sample photo called BOTTLE.PSP that has been split into many layers. This enables the designer to isolate certain elements for inclusion on a page e.g. only the bottle and not the tomato or shadows.
Anyone have an idea how this is achieved? Please help this is driving me nuts!
In a raster graphic you must import each element into its own layer to acheive this ungrouped affect. You then smash the layers with different levels of transparency to get the effect your looking for.
In vector graphics each object already has its own identity and you can group or ungroup them as you please.
The Jasc website has links to many resources to enable you to learn Paint Shop Pro better.
