An image link on other someone elses site (generated from my site)

Hi there fellow designers and webmasters!

Does anyone know how to tell people to use some HTML to link to my site?

I have the animated gif on my web space. I want to create some HTML that webmasters can use on their site that will make my animated gif (from my web space) appear on their site and also be a link to my site.

Perhaps this is a simple task, but I have tried to no success yet,

I look forward to your suggestions,

    Internationally.

    Indian...

He wants to actually display the code so that people can copy it. Your way would actually display the image, not the code.

    Internationally...

This is the way that you display HTML code in the browser window using Indian's example:

The trick is to use the ascii equivalent of the angles brackets.

    < (<) and > (>).

It won't display here properly because of the way the forum is coded, but when you put that code into an HTML document you'll see proper HTML code.

An alternate way is to use the tag to hold the code to copy and paste. That's what I did on this page...

The hard part is actually getting anyone to link to you
