    IFRAME vs an Include Page

I have always understood these two things to be different, but some people use these terms to descibe both? Are they different or am I missing the plot?

They are as different as night and day, yet they (typically) do the same thing. You use both to pull content from one file directly into another one.

An IFRAME relies on the browser to make an extra call to load the second page. There are browsers that don't support IFRAME, but they are fairly rare nowadays.

An include page is included by the web server, and the result is delivered to browsers as a single page. In other words, the user cannot see that there has been an include.
