Wanting to incorporate a DHTML Menu/graphic logo into a 3 column CSS layout

I'm looking to teach myself CSS using the full version of "The CSS Anthology" [a sample of which I received with the latest issue of .net magazine in the UK] and I'm planning on using a modified version of the three-column CSS layout that's found from pages 51-63 in the free version but at the same time I want to incorporate a DHTML Menu created using one of the many specialist pieces of software for that purpose below a logo which would appear at the top in the middle column and I was wondering if anyone could advise me as to what code I would place at the top of the page that allows me to incorporate the logo in the position that I mentioned along with a DHTML Menu that would span across the page below the logo.

Um, no. We don't have the book or magazine in front of us right now

It'll vary according to the template and the menu that you use. Have you got some examples we could look at?

I haven't got any examples that I can think of that I can link to here unfortunately...

It's just that I thought it might be possible to have the page the way that I described in the original post with the three column layout along with the logo at the top [If it can't be in the middle column, can it spread along the top of all three columns instead with the DHTML Navigation system below it]

I had another idea of incorporating the DHTML menu in the left column with the text links at the bottom of the second column and the logo still at the top but would that look good, aesthethics-wise...

You can do any one of those things. Depending on the menu you choose (I like YADM myself - http://onlinetools.org/tools/yadm/), it should just be a matter of putting the menu code inside the column where you want the menu to appear. The best way to figure out how is simply to experiment.

I checked out the site you mentioned and it doesn't look bad but at the same time, I'd rather incorporate a menu that looks more professional...

I'll also take your advice in mind about experimenting as well as I'm still learning a lot about CSS and whereas it was pretty easy doing things layout-wise with traditional HTML, things seem to be a lot different with CSS...
