    Try it:
    http://sourceforge.net/projects/phpfilemanager/

IT is a file manager (that is what you need, isn't it?)

I was looking for note movement system as what happens in an organization/govt.
A section raises a note and mark it to supervisor, he then mark it to his higher authority.

You could totally do this with PHP using a web based application and a user system. But you'll have to spend a fair amount of time with the design before you start any coding. Unless you plan to do it all precedurally (which in this case might be feasable).

    ok!
I wanted to have a MySQL database driven script, which has some aspect been codified and rest like customization, departments, sections, officers, and stuff like that added to it. I had seen some scripts at sourceforge, which does work like group activity, calendar, file storage e.t.c.
But yet to actually find a suitable pre-made script.
If there is one, I would love to hear that

I am not sure what you are looking for exactly. Does this describe it?

Officer #24 creates a note, passes it to his Section Chief #7.

SC #7 then deletes it (or flags it as no longer viewable) OR Section Chief #7 can make some amendments to the original note and then he passes it to Dept Head #105.

There should be an audit trail of who changed what, and at any time, a person with the correct permissions should be able to see what Officer #24 originally wrote.

The whole thing should be searchable, and anyone with the correct permissions can print off what they want. And at any point the note should be able to be turned into a concrete, versioned "Document".

I mean if that doesn't describe it, please add more specs.

    Off Topic:

    Isnt this similar to EDRM?
Upgrading to Mysql 5? Auto-increment fields now strict
    use NULL
Or zero or leave the field name out completely.
