    Linux: Gnome or KDE?

If you're running Linux, which do you use? Gnome or KDE?

I like KDE's interface.. although I've never run Gnome. So KDE got my vote.

My previous employer used Gnome so I use it. Never tried KDE.

It will be interesting to see which more people use maybe I should look into KDE...

    Keep it Real,
    Dan

I tried KDE, but my computer didnt like it. I switched to Gnome and I like it. I tried downloading Ximian Gnome but there were some dependencies that kept me from installing it fully.

KDE - I like it but it seems (to me anyway) that it's designed more as the corporate linux desktop.

GNOME - I'm using it and definately appreciate it. There are lots of features, applications and it just seems more homely - i guess is the word for it.

Ximian GNOME - I used this previously with Caldera and I think it's the best i've seen. I had it running with Enlightenment as the window manager. Unfortunately, the distro i'm using now ( Mandrake 8.1) is not yet supported, but it's in the works.
