    Movable navigation box?

I have a client that wants their site to have a moveable navigation box (somewhat like the one in lineto.com)

I personally don't like the idea and find this type of effect very annoying, but you know how clients can be.

Anyway, how is this done? Based on what I could gather from lineto.com this is done in JS. Does anyone know of a ready made solution to do this? Will search engines be able to find the navigation if it is in a floating box?

I have searched around and not found anything like this, any help will be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks.

Sounds like your company needs a JavaScript programmer (yes, JS is used for this) that can implement this. Copying other peoples implementation and charging for it would not be cool.

Not looking to copy anyones work or violating any copywrite issues, slow down there... I am (1st) looking for information; and (2nd) wondering if there is a source like DynamicDrive that could have something like this to offer so that I can see what I am getting into. There are some abel script writers out there that are happy to offer help. I have never used JS for anyhing beyond form validation and rollovers in the past.

Thanks for your reply in any case.

I'm interested in this also. If anyone knows a good tutorial, example or pre-made script of draggable/movable divides please do share.

I found this one, works very well and is easy to setup:

They also have a few other "drag and drop" scripts so if this one is not what you need check out the others.
