Don't ever try to outsmart google

Because this is what you'll get
    ---------------------------------------------------------
    Hello **** ****!,

It has come to our attention that invalid clicks and/or impressions
have been generated on the Google ads on your site(s). We have
therefore disabled your Google AdSense account. Please understand that
this was a necessary step to protect the interest of the AdWords
    advertisers.

A publisher's site may not have invalid clicks or impressions on any
ad(s), including but not limited to clicks and/or impressions generated
    by:

    - a publisher on his own web pages
    - a publisher encouraging others to click on his ads
    - automated clicking programs or any other deceptive software
    - a publisher altering any portion of the ad code or changing the
layout, behavior, targeting, or delivery of ads for any reason

These or any other such activities that violate Google AdSense Terms
and Conditions and program polices may have led us to disable your
account. The Terms and Conditions and program polices can be viewed at:

    https://www.google.com/adsense/localized-terms?hl=en_US
    https://www.google.com/adsense/policies?hl=en_US

Publishers disabled for invalid click activity are not allowed further
participation in AdSense and do not receive any further payment. The
earnings on your account will be properly returned to the affected
    advertisers.

If you feel that this decision was made in error, and can maintain in
good faith that the invalid activity was not due to the actions or
negligence of you or those you are responsible for, such as employees
and family members, you may appeal the closing of your account. To do
so, please contact us only through this form:

    http://www.google.com/support/adsens...ppeal&hl=en_US

If Google decides to evaluate your appeal, we will do our best to
inform you quickly and will proceed with appropriate action as
necessary. If we have reached a decision on your appeal, subsequent or
duplicate appeals may not be considered.

    Sincerely,

    The Google AdSense Team
    ---------------------------------------------------------------------

I made $160 in 5 days by telling friends (from Germany, UK, US, Canada) to click the ads .. and using proxies

and now I'm convinced google is SMART!

    Time to try Yahoo!

Never try telling your friends to click your ads -- Google will allways find out.

I wouldn't try Yahoo either, they will find out also.

It's not real hard to detect proxies, in fact. Google is smart but you are being pretty stupid by trying to fool them. Good luck trying the same crap with Y!, you're going to run into the same dead end.

This happened to my friend, he made $100 in 7 days, however, he himself was not committing any fraud. He didn't click on any of his ads, he didn't tell anyone to click on them, he didn't use words like "Support us by visiting a sponsor" or anything like that - what happened was some user knew googles TOS and he sat there and sabotaged my friend by clicking on ads repeatedly. Google gave my friend NO warning, no courteousy email telling him to ban that user, they just cut his account off. Like that.

I really don't care for google that much at all, and this incident with my friend didn't help any

Don't bite the hand that feeds you. If you use Adsense honestly you will in the long run earn more from it than if you use it dishonestly.

Be Honest, fraud click is like stealing money from the bank.

You knew that it is not your money. Why bother doing that?

It's not cool, think of the advertisers that had to pay for those fraudulent clicks.

lol ... using proxy doesn't work. Why? because adsense is javascript. If you disable JS, the ads wont show up. But if you enable JS, the browser will make the call to the JS, then to Google's server with the user's IP (your IP, not the proxy IP) as this is a client-side request, not a server-side request.

Well, think carefully before trying to outsmart google.

I think you are confusing java script with java.. javascript can't find out the clients ip if he is using a non ip spilling proxy, java can..

I think the problem is that all clicks might have come from the same IP and you probably checked your adsense account with that IP as well..

Google spends millions of dollars just to find a solution to invalid clicks you think it can't find out some clicks made over proxies? Or you telling your firneds to click?

dont ever use proxies, that should get ur account suspend so fast....

well, they will wait til you get 100 dollars, then banned you, because that way, they get all you information, so they will banned your name not just your site, so that they make sure you cant work with them again.

smart google man, thats why you see so many account getting shut down at $100 dollars mark.
    sup guys

I would guess they don't analyse the click quality in real time other than disregarding multiple clicks by a person in a short period of time / blacklisted ip's.

They probably only really analyse the data when they're gearing up to pay you because that analysis can be done at their leisure on seperate servers.

Sudden increases in CTR doesn't seem that dangerous to me. When I first optimised my ads, my CTR doubled, and I didn't hear a word.

It seems low conversion is much more important factor to ban a site than high ctr

Usually I just read and learn from comments here as I am a relative new comer to AdSense and just working on a plan to spend a non-trivial amount on a Google AdWords campaign. However I have to say that messages like this make me apprehensive. Are there really that many people dealing with Google who think that out and out _stealing_ is "Cool"?

Google's a multi-billion dollar company but many of those dollars came from small, honest merchants around the world paying their Euros and GB Pounds and Rupees and whatever other currencies to try to improve their businesses ... and stealing from them is "Cool"?

    Sad

Yes you are right but every site user try to make his default and yahoo and google also do like this. Make his site default at installing.

So I dont think something wrong there.
