Questions about building a page for print

Say hello to the new guy.

I am going to be recreating a paper form online and I'd like to use CSS to draw the form. There are several things I am going to have questions about. The first is how do I get small margins than what IE/FF typically allows? They usually force .5in around whatever you draw/layout. I need to get mine down to .25in.

Also: Is there a good previous thread here about how to do this?

Hello Patrick, and welcome to SitePoint.

You can't get smaller margins than the ones defined in the browser. It's possible that you can work around that by using some tricks with negative margins on some elements, but there are no guarantees.

The best thing is to try to fit your content into the default page size.
