    To quote from Ms. Castro herself (note for OTHER READERS: I will be assuming you are using XHTML, if not, remove the / before the closing portion of the tag):

    HTML Code:
        <object type="video/x-ms-wmv"
         data="http://www.sarahsnotecards.com/catalunyalive/fishstore.wmv" width="320" height="260">
         <param name="src" value="http://www.sarahsnotecards.com/catalunyalive/fishstore.wmv" />
         <param name="autostart" value="true" />
         <param name="controller" value="true" />
       </object>
    Obviously www.sarasnotecards.com/catalunyalive/fishstore.wmv its width and height values should be replaced with your own movie link and width/height values.

    You can do the same with other media types as well. The same article will show you how to do it.

    Flash is a bit trickier however, but www.alistapart.com/articles/flashsatay/ will show you how to do that if you ever need to learn how to embed Flash files. I have a c.swf file if you ever find yourself needing one. Feel free to ask me for it and I'll be more than happy to provide it.
