    Unrelated Keywords Killing Rankings?

I just got some SEO work for a horse-product site.

The site sells a lot of horse related products and then also sells cheesy gifts ( if you can find them ).

Will including keywords for the cheesy gifts take away from my relevence as a horse-product site? and then in tern effect my rankings?

Keywords in your meta tags hardly matter anymore. Keywords in your content are what you need.

It won't effect your rankings as long as you don't over due it with keywords.

Having less keywords, sometimes helps improve ranking, depending on the se.

My website is about hip-hop, but i have different keywords in the different pages.

So you should just have the horse keywords on the the pages that mainly about horses, and the cheesy keywords on the pages where u can find the cheesy stuff.. and every couple of pages u could mix up the keywords.
