    Print report image

I have a page which shows 2 divs : one on top.second on the left.
a main frame is the core of the page

On clicking hyperlinks in teh divs a different report is displayed pulled from excel every time within the frame. Large reports are put in teh frame with a scroll bar.

within the div I need to put in a print report icon which would print just the report - i do not want it to printscreen as this wud have the divs data being printed too.
Also I want the entire report to print and not just the printscreen of the frame too.

I really cant get around this problem.

any help wud be greatly appreciated.

    thanks
    kiran

In JavaScript, parent.framename.print() will print the frame named framename.

    Thanks-printing only screen shot

    Thanks for the reply
but this statement just prints for me what is visible in the frame..
I have a report that adjusts with a scrollbar if it is beyond wat teh frame size is and the entire report is not printing.
Also is tehre a way I can get it to print in landscape mode.

    thanks.

I don't know why the entire thing won't print, the browser prints the entire frame. I'd have to see what you're doing to know why that doesn't work.

As for landscape mode, no, the user has to choose that. The most you can do is ask the browser to pop up the print dialog.
