    Cool (Logo) Ecliko

    Hey Y'All.

I'm writing a Business Plan for a company called 'ecliko' that provides Small and Large Business Internet Services. Right now, I'm not sure if I will actually make it, but I would just like to know what you think of it.

How many colours should it have?

Potion's rendering of your logo is a couple of stps up. But lose the color on the E and the O because it reads like "CLIL" because the emphasis is on that, in black. Have your word in black and try to have just the two arms in the "K" be blue and tighten up the kerning a bit (bring the letters closer to each other) so that it's not too loose.

I agree with the others. There is too much going on with the original. Potion's logo looks great. I would try and build from that. Try what conradical suggested and show us what you get.

Okay, thanks everyone. I'm not sure if I'll remove all the colours, but I'll make it simpler.

You'd definately want to take conradical's advice. You're going to want something that people can easily recognize. Too many elements or alternating colors can be confusing and often mistaken for other things, like conradical said "clil."

I really like the logo from potion. The first did have a lot going on in it. I definately agree with conradical about being consistant with the colours on the letters, otherwise people could mistake the "k" for a "lc".

Too many things going on. I agree with limiting to 2-3 colours.

The logo needs some unification. You have different letters doing totally different things. It looks thrown together. Why is the l italisized? Why is there a checkerboard pattern above the i? Why is there a tag on the o? It looks like you took ideas from several different logos and put them all together to make one logo. It needs to be simplified.

    Cheers,

The checker board on your first logo post is already in use by the Purina Mills Animal feed company. I would stay totally away from that.
