If you have a table inside another and the one at the back has, say a red background, if it's possible to make the inside table also have a background colour but slightly transparent so the background table colour could still be seen?
Did I explain myself clearly enough?
If not, could you make an image have a transparent colour and still get the same effect?
IE supports image background in Tables but I don't know if Navigator does yet. They should I have never looked into it. You can make your semi-transparent background using an image.

If this is a help.
The only way I can think if doing that is with images. Coz if you put another colour inside the inner table it's just going right over top of the one you have so thus you wouldn't be able to see it, I think... I have never had the time to ply around with tables in tables. Sorry if thats not a help.
i have done this before and you can only accomplish the proper effect if you have an image background for the top table.
you can't set the transparency of a color background, so you'll have to generate a background image that is slightly transparent to place in the top table's background.
