How do I prevent the page number being printed?

I'm using a css file to create a print-friendly page. It works fine except that I get 'page 1 of 1' at the top of the page and the url and date at the bottom. Is there a way to remove these elements? Thanks v much

No. That is out of your control.

You can control printing options via JavaScript but believe me when I say it's more trouble than it's worth. I needed to control page numbering and margin sizes for a purchase order system I designed for my company a few years ago, and I ended up using an ActiveX control (bleh!) called ScriptX to do the job.

I did find solutions for Internet Explorer and one for Firefox, but the IE solution requires the browser to ask for permission to change the registry. You don't want your site doing that : (
