    See if mouse was clicked at a specific area of the document and then run query

    I need to be able to track clicks on certain areas of a web document, and then send a query if the user clicks a certain area that I allow. Maybe even show a DIV that says "Thank you for clicking"

    Any help would be appreciated.

    take a look to the area tag and on click use ajax to run the query remotely
