    Ruby Cross Platform GUI - Suggestions Please

    i'm wanting to slap a GUI onto my ruby program. i'd like it to work on windows and linux - and mac w/b cool, too.

    i've done a little research and come up with Ruby/Tk

    is it a good solution? the interface will be basic - just a vew form elements to input some required information and display current information.

    I would recommend Tk, it is quite easy to learn for ruby. You can start here, if you haven't already read that.

    thanks. i thin that is the easiest way right now. the one downside, if i understand correctly, is that tk needs to be installed on the target computer in order for it to work.

    i've done a bit of research and wxruby looks intriguing, but the one tutorial i found was overly complex for a newb like me. the one upside to wxruby is that nothing extra has to be installed.
