    Question :hover and IE6

I'm somewhat of a n00b to CSS and am trying to use it more. I tryed to do a menu bar on a site I'm making for a local band. And after a few hours of racking my brain and looking up a ton of stuff I was able to make something that seemed perfectly fine. But then I decided to charge up IE6 and see how it looks, and wow it looked horrible. And I just have no idea what I can do to fix it. I've uploaded the work I've done here . I've run both the HTML and CSS through W3C's validators and I fixed some of the errors I had. So yeah any help would be great.

I suggest ditching the table but if you want to use them, close the cell tags.

    Also add a doc type.

I thought of ditching the table, but I've never done a non-table site, so I'm a bit scared. I'm thinking of doing tables for now and then switching over. And yeah didn't really notice the doc type and close cell tags, stupid HTML class never actually taught us that we should do that and I forget still.
