    can get on the internet

I recently had to re-install windows ME on one of my computers. After hooking it back up to my home network and restoring the network settings I can browse the network and share folders but I can't access the internet. I have the TCP/IP setting set to obtain an IP address automaticaly (I have a router running DHCP). What am I missing?

Probabaly means that the IP info your DHCP server is dishing out, are not correct. Try to ping something on the outside world. In other words, from a command prompt, type:

    ping dell.com

If you get an error, that means TCP/IP is not working correctly. Check the settings to make sure your computer is getting to correct address(s)
