    Personal Web Server

I have Windows 2000 and have been using the Personal Web Server to work on my ASP web page. Up to today, it has been running fine; but now, it will not read my ASP script. It will display everything else on the page, but just leave out the ASP code for some reason. Any advice on how to fix this? Thanx

What is it doing with the ASP code? Just leaving it in the source?

No, it will not do anything with it and leaves it out. It's not one of those things where it prints you asp code on to your page, but it is totally leaving it out. It is not in the source code when you view it either.

Could you post the code? Is it one one page or a load of them?

It's a bunch of code. The weird thing about this is it was working yesterday, but now it is not. I viewed the code in DW and the ASP code is there. So, it has to be something with the PWS, I think, and it is not that the code is just bad, b/c I know it works. (Maybe my dad did something to my computer??)

lol...the same thing happened to me...

Are you sure you put it in the inetpub folder (can't run from ANYWHERE on your system, has to be accessed from the inetpub folder)

I THINK that answers your question

    [has MUCH experience with PWS...]

    PWS Directory

You can run ASP from any directory on your computer as long as you set it up as a virtual directory.

I run ASP scripts from my desktop folders all the time.
