I have someone that wants a PDF they paid to have created for them to be turned into a web page. Can this be done? My initial reaction was to request the images they originally used to create the flier (it's a 1 page PDF) and use tables to simulate the layout they had on the PDF.

    Any Suggestions?

Just use the PDF itself. Using the adobe plug-in it will show up in the browser just like any other page. If the user doesn't have the adobe plugin installed and aren't using IE under Windows then they will be prompted to download the file. IE for Windows will still display the file with plugin or not.

Ufnortunately, I am not allowed to make that assumption (that they have Acrobat and are willing to wait the download time of the PDF). This is to be someone's "Front Page" within a directory as well.

I found a couple of resources, but so far all they have done is taken the text and read it... This PDF's full of images as well.

Oh, I found the perfect answer, BTW, but it's a plug-in module for Intra!doc. I couldn't find the price of the main program, but the plug-in was listed at $15,000.00 (oooowwwwwwwwww!)

    Thanks!

Look for a program called Ghost. Its a freeware PDF writer. It should be able to break apart your file for you. I can't remember which OS it was written for but its either Windows 9x or Linux. I read about it in the paper about 3 months ago.
