Compatibility with IE7 of Javascript 101 scripts

I was wondering whether anyone has already tried to enhance the scripts of Sitepoints Javascrip 101 book. I just bought the book and have studied most of it. I noticed that not all functions have the desired results in IE7. It's probably not such big deal to modify them, but if someone managed to do so already that would be great

    Thanx

AFAIK, the have only changed a couple of things: XMLHTTPRequest is now a native JS object, and they've fixed the memory leaks on closures.

What exactly isn't working for you Marcello, and are you running it locally or on a server?

    Sorry for responding so late.

I noticed that when I tried the code from the book, that things are positioned wrong. For instance the dropdown menus. Off course I understand this is a CSS thing (and not belonging in this forum) but since the book uses functions to detect browsers and choose a method to eg get an x and y position on the screen I think it should be discussed here too.
