    Iframe alternative

    Can someone tell me what is the best alternative for inner frame? If i want one page included in more, what should i do? Ofcourse in html/xhtml.

    Iframes are best supported across browsers, but are deprecated (meaning they will not be available in future version of HTML). The standards based way to do it is to embed objects, but IE (6.0) creates an unsightly scrollbar gutter no matter what - which is why I personally prefer iframes.

    This chapter, from Liz Cookwood's excellent book (the gold standard for a general HTML reference), HTML VQS 5th, explores both options thoroughly.
