Rbot is a ruby-based IRC bot. You can download the bot at the following URL:
    http://linuxbrit.co.uk/rbot/

This site also has an online installation guide, that may help you through the process of installing the bot. Not only do you need ruby installed to run this bot, but you will also need to install Berkeley Database (BDB) package, which the installation guide provides links to download this package.

Also, if you download the Rbot, the ZIP file contains files to help you with Rbot (INSTALL, README, Usage_en.txt, etc.)

Honestly, the installation of Rbot can be quite a complicated process for someone who has no experience in installing and configuring this type of software, but I believe it is possible, as long as you carefully read and follow the instructions provided at the site.
