    Computer Infected by Casino syndicate

Somehow, an online casino group has got into my computer and my web browser (IE6) opens up at their homepage each time I go online. Even if I merely log on using Outlook Express, IE will open and I'll get several popup windows advertising these services. When I try to close IE, another popup will appear in its place. How do I find the program (I assume that's what it is) which is causing this to happen, and remove it from my system? Thanks for any help you can give me.

You can also get a free program called Ad-aware which is a free multi spyware removal utility, that scans your memory, registry and hard drives for known spyware components and lets you remove them safely.

I've seen these before. You should probably check out your startup group and do a search in your registry. Chances are, if you don't, they will just come back the next time you reboot the computer.

Actually, I already tried examining my startup programs, and there's nothing untoward in there. Thanks for the link, Tom. I'll check it out.
