    css in 4.7 layout falls apart from 3 columns to 1

    Hi Im new to this forum I am looking for some help with css in netscape 4.7 in ie5.5 that is the layout of the way i want the site to appear. netscape has its own ideas. looking for code to do layout the same in nn4.7 so the page looks like ie5.5 www.jamesdiamond.com thanx dave

    You're wasting you time. Netscape 4.xx's implementation of CSS is incapable of displaying that particular for of layout. Also NS 4 doesnt seem to like using id="" for styles, try changing them to class references instead. (still wont work though)


    Incidentally did you get that code from glish.com? Im using that same technique on a new site of mine.

    Incidentally it doesnt work in Opera, the column divs are misaligned.

    yes i was at glish. It appears that there is no hope for this style but i did find one that displays close to what i want with out falling apart. dave

    If you can give me your code I think I've found the problem with the Glish design in Opera.
