hi...
i am having trouble with netscape. Open http://ecxs.net in netscape.. it works fine but it doesn't pick up the background images of the table.. some body told me.. netscape cannot handle gifs as background images. so i converted the gifs to jpegs. The page works fine on my pc. but as soon as i upload it, it screws up. Please i need urgent help.
The page even works fine on the network in the office.. but it just doesn't work on the net.
Netscape 4.x was a real obstacle for me too. The site I'm creating relies heavily on table cell bg's, and N4.x was being quite stubborn. I think I have it all worked out though, and it's turning out much better than expected!

Actually, Netscape does it right. You're not supposed to have spaces in your URLs. Just because IE lets you get away with it doesn't make IE any better, it just makes you lazier. In case anyone wants a cite, check out RFC 1738.
Must add to that comment. I think NS has redefined the technique of sucking. For a while, NS didn't even recognize background values for individual tables and cells, which can be a major design aspect of a site.
