I tried to setup a modified "error 404" page as discribed in Issue 51 of your ezine. I even used the same file name.
The problem is nothing happens. I get the default error message instead of my page.
Does the "/missing/htm" file reside in the top level of the web site?
Do I need to change file protection?

or basically HELP!!!!!!!!! what have I done wrong.

It should be "/missing.htm" and you either need to modify your .htaccess file or install some sort of wrapping routine that catches errors. For you.
