HTML Emial Issue - Showing attachemtns

I have built an html page to be sent as HTML email. It works no problem but for some reason, and it seems like all of the sudden, when the email arrives, the images that are included in the HTML markup also appears as attachments in to the email.

Anyone know why this is happening? This is the first time I have tried to do this so I am not an expert at what works and doesn’t.

I have gone and done some research and found a very informational article on the subject here at SitePoint and based most of the design criteria on that article. The first few times I tested the code using email it worked fine so I am not sure why all of the sudden it stared doing this.

Any help or suggestions would be helpful.

    Thanks,
    Houston

What email client are you using? Some email software does not show html email by default and usually you have to configure it to do so.

These fixes all seem to do with the computer itself. Not how to code the HTML so that the images do not show up in Outlook as attachments. I got it to work the first time I did it. It came through with no attachments and the body looked perfect. All the sudden they come through as attachments in addition to the body. (content)

I am not sure what the heck I did to cause this and I am trying to find the solution.

    Thank you for your diligence.
