I've just noticed this suddenly happening on my computer (Windows 2000).
Anytime I put a CD into the CDrom or CDRW drive, and then replace it with another CD, the computer doesn't recognize that I put the new CD in, on either drive. It still says that the old CD is in there and that the drive was altered or there is an incorrect function..blah blah. But I have to reboot every time I change a CD so that the computer will recognize the new one!
What can I do to fix this? I have no idea if I have autorun enabled, or if that would help..I'm getting really tired of rebooting, so any suggestions would be very appreciated.
that used to happen to me on Win98 for some reason, what I used to do was just right click on the cd rom drive and select OPEN, thats used to work, but in Win2k I dont know if it will work ?
