Ooooh.....about 5 minutes?...no ok let's be fair....7 minutes....![]()
Hello
I've just read it would take 2 days... then again, it may really take 7 minutes if it's their day.![]()

2 days! Wow, what a long time!
Do you think that's a bit like a 'New York' Minute?...A 'Microsoft Day' (or two)
...wish I could make £194,000,000 in 2 days....I may only bother working for one of them....
Hello
Yes, a bit like.
But I don't feel like working for anyone of them... I'd rather actually try to make that in 2 days. And even though I'll probably never accomplish that, the process of trying is worth thousand times as the money.![]()

MS makes more than 1M$/minute just from Office.
You do the math.
Is this a gross profit?Originally Posted by Jeremy W.

Naw, pure revenue.
You're serious? That's pretty much for one product.Originally Posted by Jeremy W.

That's $1.4b a day and $525b per year. Sounds a little high, but within the realm of possibility I guess. Is there a source for that number?
Erm, hour. Hour. Typo. 1M$/hour.
And it's MS's latest financials, which show 55B$ in yearly income for Officef (or whatever, I don't remember the exact figure)..
55B is more than 1B$/week. Which is well more than 1M$/hour.
Bill Gates has too much money! He would seriously struggle to spend it all even if he quit work and went on a shopping spree for the rest of his life.. He should give a large portion of it to various charities imo, he could solve alot of problems in africa on his own! I'm sure he probably does give to charity though, just cant beleive somebody could be so damn rich!

He's given more to charity than any other human being in history. Look up the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.
Is that because hes made more money than any other human in history? I wonder if hes given more of his earnings percentage wise than anoybody else, seems like a nice guy though.

Does it matter?
You said he should give. He did. Even percentage wise he's above 10%, and probably closer to 25% (it's hard to say, since not all the giving happens through the Foundation).
He's even becoming a full time philanthropist (ie: gives to charity as a full time job).
No it doesnt matter, I just made a comment - in which i stated 'Im sure he does give to charity', excuse my ignorance...
