What was Yahoo thinking?

In their new version of their site they seem to have a Javascript block on Copy and Pasting text (at least in Safari).

Do they suffer from mild to severe retardation?

It's not a block on Copy+Paste, it's an accesskey that overrides Ctrl+C (or Cmd+C) and gives focus to the search box instead. You can still copy using right-click.

I can't work out why it's doing it though, as in the code the accesskey for the search box is "s".
