    Help with Zend Optimizer install

    Hi,
    I'm trying to install the Zend Optimizer 3.0.1on my Fedora Core 5, running with Apache 2.0.54 and PHP 5.1.4.

    The install went ok, no problems displayed, but when I goto my phpinfo page it doesnt show the optimizer info and the encoded php pages I have tell me that the zend optimizer isnt installed.

    Anyone know why this is happening?

    thank you
    steve

    Yes, I restarted Apache, even tried rebooting my computer. I have also checked the following:

    Zend located in: /usr/local/Zend - YES
    Found php.ini in: /usr/local/Zend/etc - YES
    php.ini file has:
    [Zend]
    zend_extension_manager.optimizer=/usr/local/Zend/lib/Optimizer-3_0_1
    zend_extension_manager.optimizer_ts=/usr/local/Zend/lib/Optimizer_TS-3_0_1
    zend_optimizer.version=3.0.1

    zend_extension=/usr/local/Zend/lib/ZendExtensionManager.so
    zend_extension_ts=/usr/local/Zend/lib/ZendExtensionManager_TS.so - YES
    Full path to the Apache control utility (apachectl): /usr/sbin/apachectl - YES

    I have found a fix for this, it is to trun off selinux security.
    Now this gets the Zend Optimizer working, but not something I easy with, is there a better work-around that gets Zend Optimizer working and keeps selinux security on?

    thank you
    steve
