    Wrapper height stretches to fit main content, but not the sidebar.

    If anyone could take a look at my css and let me know why the the wrapper is not stretching to the bottom of the sidebar that would be great. Thanks!

    Hello

    #sidebar {position:absolute;

    use a flow, float model ,or use set hights

    PS use a proper DTD that gets IE in the same box model as FF NS Moz OP, Please validate your code, my validater terminates because there are to many errors on your page

    What DTD would get IE in the same box model? I'm trying to find some info on this, but haven't found anything.

    Float model doesn't seem to be working. Sidebar still overlaps the side of the page. Would there be anyway to make the height of the main content area automatically the same as the sidebar. Like if I had a variable set to equal the height of the sidebar, and then put that variable in some inline style for the main content area?
