Writers - Where do you find 'em?

My site needs more content. It's really time consuming when you're working on a project all by yourself.

Does anyone have links to sites where writers hang out? Especially music writers.

This is what I'm going to offer them:

There's a banner ad at the bottom of every page on my site...if you generate 6 pages of content of example, you will get 50% of the profit generated from those 6 banners.

I think that's more than fair.

Hmm, I'm thinking no. A simple byline with their name and information should suffice.

    But try this:

    they might have something worthwhile...

If I was a writer, I'm not sure I'd be willing to work on commission as you describe; it's too unclear what they'd be getting in return, especially since banner ads are pretty much useless in most cases.

Very good question, guysmy. I snooped around and the pickins don't look good! Two things I've learned:

    1) Writers have horrible, horrible-looking sites.

    2) Writers don't maintain their forums.

I did find one, but be careful of the cornucopia of irritating pop-ups!

Ha! Writers do have awful-looking sites jimknee. If a writer has any smooth graphics on their site I can't help but question their writing skills.

Thanks for the link...the quest continues.
