    Tracking subscription based service.

    I'm going to be offering a number of monthly charged subscription based service off my site, How would I manage to track subscriber life and billing. I looked at I-Bill but also interested in hearing more opinions on this.

    Hello Kyle,
    As I understand You're looking for 3rd party credit card processor that accepts recurring charges.

    I personnaly use revecom and it works without any probs for me.

    www.worldpay.com (I believe) is also very good, well respected, but also slightly more expensive.

    I'm a member at the Ars Technica Open Forums , they've been using Paypal right from the start. Soon after the subscription program started Paypal apprently integrated a subscription function into their offerings. Visit this page for info on Ars subscriptions and how they work.

    Ooops! This is the page where you actually subscribe.

    So far things seem to be working pretty well with them.

    If you happen to email Caesar@Ars give him some time to reply he's really busy working on his PhD at Harvard, teaching, and running the site.
