Nested list collapsing script display problem.

    Hi.

I'm using the nested list collapsing script by Mark Wilton-Jones (http://www.howtocreate.co.uk/tutoria...seExample.html) on my site, and I'm using the cookie script described there to preserve the state of the menu as users navigate through the site. Here is an example url to the in-development site I'm working on: http://www.orionvisuals.com/wip/ppps/index.php?id=20

The problem I am having is that when a new page is loaded, the entire menu tree first appears, then a moment later is changed so that all but the currently selected menu (determined by the cookie) is hidden. This results in a visually jarring effect of a huge menu appearing then disappearing as the page loads.

I'm asking here, because there is no dicsussion forum on Mark's page, and my knowledge of javascript is insufficient to allow me to try to find a solution myself.

Does anyone have any suggestions for what I can do? Here is an example of a site that works how I would like my menu to work: http://www.asx.com.au

Any help you can offer would be much appreciated!
