Do your host have cpanel? If it probably have Awstats, that produces pretty stats.

If you don't want to deal with analyzing log files, you can also try Google Analytics

I went to lategames.com/cpanel and got the cPanel login screen. If you log in to your control panel, you'll probably find a menu item called "web stats" or just "webalizer" or "awstats". That'll tell you how many uniques a day you're getting. If not, I recommend myself, of course (signature).

    Yep... sure does.
I mean, better than most other solutions. Remotely hosted alternatives, including Google analytics may not be so accurate because they rely on javascript, and quite a few of your visitors may have that turned off.

My vote also goes for statcounter.com - very easy to use and visual.

Is the 'Visitors' part of Webalizer actually your uniques? If it is I'm doing better than I thought....

Sometimes. And sometimes it's completely wrong. Log based stats get messed up horridly by search spiders, content rippers, hotlinking websites and other bots. It's good to run both Webalizer or Awstats alongside an image/js-based counter which doesn't record bots.

Interesting, thanks...at the moment i'm running Webalizer, and also downloading logs for more detailed parsing. I'm not running any other counters / stats - I'll look into that.

It would be nice to say with confidence what my uniques were.
