    HTML Coding Question

Sorry if this is the wrong section to post this in.

Well I am done with this one template and I wanna sell it. Before I do, I want it coded. But how should I code it? Make it without any text or anything and then code it? Or code it with text and everything? But then the person who I sell it to won't be able to change it? How does this work when you are selling a template... Thanks for the help.

    Hi,

I think you need to define what kind of template you're looking at making. There are several types of templates out there, so in order to better assess your issue (and what forum it should go into), we need more expanded information.

If you created the layout in Photoshop, you can try and sell it as a graphics only template and let the buyer code it.

I often buy templates at Sitepoint, but normally want the template xhtml/css coded and the code needs to validate, but that's me, other's may not worry too much about the quality of the code.

The better the quality of the graphics and making sure the code is clean and validated should ensure you a better selling price.

You can always find someone to code the template for you and each take a share of the final purchase price.
