    IE vs FF div layout with images

    Forgive me if there's a well know tutorial on this somewhere. I've read numerous articles found through Google on IE vs FF layout problems but I'm still having trouble getting it. This looks right in IE6 and terrible in everything else. What am I doing wrong here? (Sorry about all of the irrelevant material in the CSS.)

    Potentially some of the 20 html errors you have. Your image tags aren't closed. If it was designed using IE then that could be the problem, too.

    Sorry, don't have time to look at it further than that.

    drhowarddrfine,
    Just in case you've checked back, I've fixed all but the Flash created html validation errors (thanks for that tip) and still the same effect is present.

    I looked at the CSS errors, removed the superfluous CSS, and reran the validator.

    There's one error left - float:both; - which I think is OK as an accepted exception to the W3C rules.

    A lot of warnings that I'm glad to be aware of, thanks for that.

    But still the box layout issue persists. Any ideas on how to get rid of the overlap and how to get the widths right?

    Oooops! That should be clear: both;
